I will ask your point of departure and wish your permission suggest the best air route. There are many flights to the island your main destination will be Santo Domingo (SDQ). At SDQ we will handle the travel details. You could try to book the flight your self but it is much easier for us since we make reservations al most every day. We do suggest that you try airline web site as well online travel agent web sites, there are often large discrepancies. The services of good travel agent often saves time, money and results in more convenient flights

You will be asked to send me your Itinerary (flight info) by e-mail or call it in. You can get this from your online reservation or your travel agent.

Within few hours of receiving the Itinerary I will reply with an invoice and a detailed e-mail regarding the deposit, the balance that is to be paid on the second day and most importantly phone numbers that you have to use at any cost in case you miss your flight or our Travel Rep misses you. This is so you do not get stranded at Santo Domingo Airport without knowing what to do, our Travel Rep / Manager will never leave the airport unless he meets you or I call them that you cancelled the trip or your flight was cancelled or delayed. If your trip is in fact delayed we may be able to adjust your land package accordingly. So please do not worry just call me and I will do whatever we can to help you out.

Between booking and departure you may wish to call if you have any more questions. I suggest that you call a couple of days before your departure so that we can confirm all of the trip details. This call is important to both us.

On the plane they will give you a Dominican Immigration form to complete. This is your 30 day tourist visa. You will be asked to present it to the immigration so they can stamp it and direct you to Customs. At Customs nobody will bother you so just go through the "Nothing to Declare" line

Outside of Customs and Immigrations, Marco your Travel Rep - Manager will be waiting for you with a sign with “ Hotel Astoria.”. We will find you so please do not do anything else and please do not go wondering around. To date we have not missed any guest but if you need any assistance please go to Taxi Office or ask a taxi driver for Marco. Pay any cost to call me; I will reimburse you for the expense. After you meet Marco he will help you with your luggage and escort you to the hotel car. Our Sueño Tropical Resort is located nearby in the beach area of the south coast. During the 20 minutes drive you will start getting a feel for the vacation and we will start to understand your vacation plans.

When you arrive at the resort you will start unpacking. The suites are large, king size beds, mini fridge for after hours drinks, bath tub, A/C, cable TV, patio in front with table and chairs).

Marco or the Manager will bring you a drink and they will answer any questions you might have.

On the second day in the afternoon you have to decide if this vacation is what you want, if yes you pay the balance on your invoice and plan your itinerary for the rest of the time. We suggest that you consult your escort and/or the Manager when making your plans. Decisions including which day you want your free second escort…

If you decide that it was not the trip you wish, you do not have any further obligation we will drive you to a nice hotel to continue your vacation by your self. After you leave you may wish to come back to our place for a drink. If you wish we will try to change your flight for and you can return back home.

We suggest that you bring only enough of your own currency so that you can get comfortably to and from your departure airport. All of the funds for the trip should be in traveler’s checks. Credit Cards can be used for cash advances in $RD (Peso) at local bank. The hotel has a safe in which you can store valuables. If you need local currency our management staff would be happy to do the exchange on your behalf so you can concentrate on enjoying your vacation.

You may change escort(s) every day if you wish just let Blasco or Natalie know which escort you want.

Tipping: We have a no tipping policy. There are two exceptions to it. If you go to the Casino we suggest that you give the escort $20-40 to play. What is the difference if you or your escort lose $20? If she wins she will be very grateful to you.

Secondly if you feel like buying your escort a small gift and "we would suggest that you shouldn't" but please let us know. Often our escorts are the sole source of income of her/his family.
